In June 2014, 20th Century Fox announced a sequel of The Predator which Shane Black has Directed, who first also starred as supporting character Rick Hawkins in Predator, and co-written by the Fred Dekker, and John Davis will produce this Sequel. John Davis has said his Thoughts about the film that he thinks it is fresh and reimagines the franchise in a “different, interesting way” this time. In February 2016, Shane Black confirmed the title of the new sequel would be The Predator – The Hunt Has Evolved. Shane Black has referred to the project as an event film which aims to describe the previous Predator series: He said that It’s an attempt to made the best of the Predator again.. and also an attempt to make it more mysterious, Animated. Director Shane Black also expressed that the film would mark a return to the intimate scale of just like the previous original film and that the film-makers hoped to achieve the same sense of wonderment and newness and effectiveness that Close Encounters had when that came out.
Director Shane Black confirmed that the film is set in the present day and with the Terrifying character has upgraded. Shane Black has also indicated that the film would be a sequel set in present-day 2018, following the events of Predator and Predator 2, but set prior to the events of the 2010 film Predators. He also wants and tells the production team that he looked for plot details set up in the previous Predator movies that he could subsequently link back to with the new film and the Audience also feels just like older Predators. To that end, Jake Busey was signed as Sean Keyes, the son of Peter Keyes (a character who was portrayed by Busey’s father Gary Busey in Predator 2). In February 2016, the Production Team revealed a teaser image of this movie, also confirming the title The Predator – The Hunt Has Evolved.

But for some scheduling reasons, the Boyd Holbrook replaced Benicio del Toro, departed due to scheduling issues. In November 2016, Olivia Munn joined the Production Team. In January 2017, the main casting has also signed and joined the Production Team – Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Thomas Jane, and Jacob Tremblay. In February, Alfie Allen and Yvonne Strahovski both were also added to the casting. In March, the last main role was filled and the cast is Jake Busey in a supporting role for this Movie.
In March 2017, Edward James Olmos had been cast as Sanchez, a military general in this movie. but in August 2018, Olmos reveals that his role had been cut from the final film, to reduce the running time of this film.
A month before the film’s release, Olivia Munn reveals the role of one of the actors that is Steve Wilder, the role was in the film is the registered sex offender, but in the scenes gone wilder that’s why they were cut.
Production Team was scheduled to begin the filming in February 2017 in “Vancouver”, British Columbia. On November 21, 2016, the Cinematographer Larry Fong was confirmed to be hired for the film. Black announced that the shooting of the film began on February 20, 2017. After all the sequences were shot, the film wrapped up on June 2, 2017. Additional photography for the shot in Vancouver took place in March 2018. On July 6, 2018, Director Black was revealed the film’s third act was entirely re-shot due to test the screenings.
The Predator was originally fixed to be released on 2 March 2018, before that the date was pushed forward to February 9, 2018. It was again pushed back to August 3, 2018. In February 2018, the released date was again fixed back to September 14, 2018. The film will also be released in IMAX 3D theatres. On May 10, 2018, the film first trailer was released. A television spot was released on June 9, while the second full trailer was released on June 26, 2018. The 3rd and final theatrical trailer was fixed to be released on August 31, 2018. The film Production Team held its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2018.
In the United States and Canada, The Predator was released alongside White Boy Rick, A Simple Favor and Unbroken: Path to Redemption, and is projected to gross $25–32 million from 4,037 theaters in its opening weekend. It made $2.5 million from Thursday night previews.
The Response from the Audience is not well appreciated and on review by the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 34% based on 175 reviews and an average rating of 5.1/10. The Predator has, but its designing up of the hollow action adds this up to another missed opportunity for a Production Team increasingly defined by disappointment from this movie. The film has a weighted average score of 49 out of 100, based on 47 critics, that would indicating mixed or average reviews from the Audience. And audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film an average grade of “C+” on an A+ to F scale, while PostTrak reported filmgoers gave it a 66% positive score and a 55% ” not well definite recommended.
